Heslington Scout Group is based in the village, adjacent to York University.
Our Scout Hut is in School Lane, Heslington, opposite Lord Deramores School.
The Group is a completely voluntary organisation.
Our group is managed by a Committee of parents and volunteers. Uniformed leaders are volunteers who freely give their own time to help.
Everyone who joins Heslington is a member of the group. Within the group are 3 sections:
is for those between 6 and 8 and is the youngest section of the Scout Movement.
is for ages 8-10.5.
is for ages 10.5-15.
